Full steam ahead

February is chock full of musical delights!
From here through the spring it is full steam ahead, folks!

VDay Cabaret
This past weekend, Adam Brockway, Chelsie Henderson, and other local artists took part in Con Brio Performing Art's "Valentine's Day Celebration" performances at 70 Main Street in Greenwich. I heard many area singers for the first time - many of them of high school age - and was so impressed with their stage presence and verve! A highlight was John Shoemaker's performance of "Zaidee's Song" (a tribute to his lovely wife), complete with comic banter and high kicks. Check out what Con Brio Performing Arts is up to HERE. These shows are not to be missed!

The Teen Musicians Showcase will feature Cambridge area singer Morgan Hall on Saturday, February 26th at 7:30 p.m. "Upstairs at 111" - 111 Main Street, Greenwich. Only $4 at the door!

Morgan Renee Hall has always been interested in music, but in her teen years she has really found her genre. She's been involved in the theater for several years, acting and singing in musicals such as Peter Pan, The Sound of Music, Beauty and The Beast, and Guys and Dolls. She r
ecently received the roll of Carmen Diaz in Fame the musical at Cambridge Central School. The real privilege she says, was working with Jay Kerr of the Fort Salem Theater, where she performed in a cabaret series.

Dave and Adam at DISH Bistro

Dave Wright and Adam Brockway will be filling Dish with sweet sounds on Friday, February 25th at 8:00 p.m. Special guests will certainly be jumping in to ride their musical waves.
See you there!
