Rural Soul Productions' "Teen Musician's Showcase" series happily presents May's teen talents: singer Maria McAllister, with musical partners (sister) Kate McAllister (voice), Alex Diffee (guitar), Sarah Pelletier (bass), and Nicole Bruce (guitar). This talented crew is from Gloversville, NY. They play a wide variety of music, but tend to dig into the indie rock realm.
The opening special guest is singer Ali Beck, who is a GCS student, with Natalie Pavelock on guitar and ukelele. Maria and Ali are cousins and will certainly combine singing forces before the night is over.
Saturday, May 28th at 7:30 p.m. at Upstairs at 111. $5 at the door; bring 3 friends and you get in for free.
In April, Anna Maria French and Meara McTague visited us from Burnt Hills, NY and played guitar, mandolin, banjo, and piano and sang folk and pop songs of old and new. Rural Soul was extremely impressed with their performance!!
